First Nations Consultant Services
Building Respectful, Nation-to-Nation Relationships
Turtle Island Group provides Indigenous-led consultation services to ensure that projects on Indigenous lands are developed with respect, transparency, and alignment with community priorities.
Our consultation services support industry, government, and project developers in meeting both legal obligations and the deeper ethical responsibility of engaging First Nations as rights holders, not just stakeholders.
We facilitate meaningful, culturally appropriate, and legally sound consultation processes that uphold:
-
Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) principles
-
Nation-specific governance and decision-making protocols
-
Community-driven priorities and cultural protections
-
Transparent communication and trust-building between all parties
-
Collaborative solutions that balance economic opportunity with environmental stewardship
Through our coalition of Indigenous Nations and experts, Turtle Island Group helps bridge the gap between industry and Indigenous communities, fostering partnerships that respect sovereignty and deliver shared benefits.

Energy- and water-efficient infrastructure to minimize operating costs and resource use

Each system is designed to reduce dependence on food imports, lower transportation costs, and strengthen food security in remote and urban Indigenous communities alike. Built with sustainability and resilience in mind, our solutions align with long-term community health, economic opportunity, and environmental stewardship.
