Standing Together for Land, Water, and Indigenous Sovereignty

Turtle Island Group is proud to stand in solidarity with Indigenous-led and Indigenous-aligned organizations across Turtle Island and beyond. These are not industry partners, but rather allies in advocacy, environmental stewardship, cultural revitalization, and Indigenous rights.

Our Allied Partners support our vision of a world where Indigenous Peoples lead in defending the land, restoring the waters, and building just, self-determined futures. Together, we share knowledge, amplify community priorities, and work toward long-term solutions rooted in sovereignty, sustainability, and respect.

A Coalition of Indigenous-Led Strength and Vision

Turtle Island Group (TIG) is a coalition of Indigenous communities, organizations, and development entities working together to reclaim economic power, support sustainable growth, and protect our ancestral lands for generations to come.

We are Indigenous-owned, Indigenous-led, and grounded in the teachings, traditions, and governance systems of our Nations. Our strength comes not from one voice — but from the collective vision of many Nations walking together.

Though rooted primarily in what is now known as Canada, our reach — and our responsibility — extend across all of Turtle Island. We collaborate across artificial borders, uniting First Nations, Tribes, and Indigenous Peoples in the pursuit of prosperity, sovereignty, and environmental balance.

We partner with trusted allies in industry, policy, and community to develop projects that reflect Indigenous priorities — from infrastructure and clean energy to land restoration and community-led enterprise.

What We Stand For:

  • Sovereignty – Indigenous-led decision-making in every project and partnership

  • Stewardship – Deep responsibility to the land, water, and all living beings

  • Solidarity – Standing with Indigenous Peoples across territories and Nations

  • Self-Determination – Building economies that work for our communities, not the other way around

We do not wait for change — we build it.
